Jonathan Bauer

Jon started his working life owning and operating businesses but decided to become an attorney to carry on the family tradition of serving others. After years of practicing at larger firms, both international and local, Jon joined Tim to create Tyree Bauer Law. At this boutique law firm Jon can focus on the areas of law at which he excels and help his clients solve (or even better, avoid) problems and plan for their future and the future of their businesses.

Jon’s practice focuses on three key areas of the law: business, real estate and trusts and estates. Though some of Jon’s clients only need help in one of these areas, many of them need help in at least two, if not all three, of these practice areas.

Jon provides his business clients with a broad array of legal services including new business formations, general business counseling and contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions and business transitions (within a family, to employees, or outright sales). His clients include privately owned businesses of all types and sizes and whether they are startups or established businesses.

In his real estate practice, his focus is on commercial real estate. He represents buyers and sellers of real estate and landlords and tenants in lease transactions. Additionally, he has extensive experience in dealing with related real estate issues such as easements, CC&Rs, real estate financing, etc.

Whether they are business owners, real estate developers or those earning their living as employees, almost everyone needs an estate plan. Jon has many years of experience creating estate plans with clients having all different types and amounts of assets. Estate planning shouldn’t be a “cookie cutter” process with every client getting the same plan. Jon spends time with his clients in order to assure they get an estate plan that suits them. He helps clients decide what they need and uses wills, trusts, business entities and other legal tools to implement the right estate plan for each client.

Mike has spent over 25 years working in the arena of real estate and business, and in addition to practicing law, Mike spent part of his career at Albertsons, overseeing site selection and architecture and engineering for new developments
